September 11th Memorial Mass- September 11, 2021

(Mass at 4:00pm...Saturday Vigil Mass)
We will be praying a special prayer at this mass to commemorate and pray for the lives lost 20 years in
New York, Pennsylvania, and Washington, DC.

St. Gregory Byzantine Catholic Church 50th Anniversary Mass- September 19, 2021
(Location- St. Gregory Byzantine Church, 2005 Mohawk Rd, Upper St Clair, PA 15241)
(Mass at 3:00pm...this Divine Liturgy fulfills your Sunday obligation)
We have been asked to join in the Hierarchical Procession and attend the parish's 50th Anniversary Mass
celebrated by the Byzantine Archbishop of Pittsburgh, because the parish used our former council hall as their
first church building before constructing their permanent home across from Upper St. Clair High School.

St. Paul of the Cross Ministry Fair- September 26, 2021

The parish will sponsor a ministry fair where all the parish organizations will have a booth explaining how they serve the parish. Our council will have a tent/table, where we will have information available, and can answer any questions that a prospective knight might have, so come on by and say hi! Food trucks will be on-site to serve lunch!

Charity Awards Dinner- October 20, 2021
(Location- Chelsea Room, Family Life Center, St. Thomas More Church (Resurrection Parish)
Time: 6pm-7pm- Drinks, 7pm-8pm-Dinner)
This formal evening allows us to personally present the checks to the numerous schools and charities which we financially support in our area. Representatives of the organizations will be here, and it is a great time to meet and talk with them. If you would like to come,  please RSVP by October 13th to jrebel1979@verizon.net

Miraculous Medal Plaques Installation- October 26, 2021
(Location- South Hills Catholic Academy, located at St. Winifred Church grounds)
Time: 6pm-Finish

We will be installing the Miraculous Medal plaques we purchased at South Hills Catholic Academy. We will also be helping them install whiteboards in their classrooms. Christmas Family Lunch Party- December 18, 2021

Bring your families to our annual Christmas party; a merry time will be had!
All are invited to our Council's annual family Christmas Party at Al's Cafe!  As in years past, we will have a hot lunch buffet and dessert.  Kid's meal will be chicken fingers and French fries.  The Council will cover the cost for each member and their spouse as well as young children. Santa will be making an appearance again this year and he will be handing out gifts! We encourage you bring friends and family to meet Brother Knights - especially new prospective members!!

St. Joseph Pilgrim Icon Service- April 6, 2022
(Location- St. Thomas More Churc
h (Resurrection Parish)

Every few years, the Knights of Columbus selects an icon of a saint whose patronage is particularly inspiring to Knights and their communities. This year, the saint is St. Joseph, because of his model of holiness and sanctity, especially in regards to men and to the family.
A special Prayer Service will take place at St. Thomas More Church. Bishop Mark Eckman will preside. Please make an effort this Service with your family.

Byzantine Churches Easter Pilgrimage- April 23, 2022
(Location- Various Byzantine Churches Throughout the Area)

Following the great successes of our two previous church pilgrimages, we are happy to be planning another one during the upcoming Easter season. In this pilgrimage, we will visit some of the area's beautiful Byzantine (Eastern-Rite) Catholic churches, particularly in the Mon Valley. It is sure to be an enjoyable and prayerful experience. Lunch will be included in the trip, which will happen via motor-coach. Please do plan to join us...it promises to be good, and you'll see something new! All are welcome!

Movie "Knight" with "Father Stu"- April 28, 2022

Join your Brother Knights and new recruits to see the new movie, “Fr. Stu”,  and have an evening full of good times and fellowship. We would like to encourage every single council member to attend and to bring a friend. The only criteria are that it is a man, over age 18. Please feel free to bring a non-Knight, any Knight who has not been active, or anyone else that may be on your heart.
*We will also have a pre-game party with food over at St. Thomas More beginning at 6pm!

Knights Exemplification Ceremony- May 1, 2022
(Location- St. John Capistran Church (Resurrection Parish)
(Time: Immediately following the 11:00am Mass)

Our Council will be hosting an Exemplification Ceremony (following the new format) after the 11:00am Mass at St. John Capistran Church. This is for any knight who needs his 2nd and 3rd degrees, or any new knight looking to be initiated. This ceremony is open to the public, so please invite your family to stay after Mass.

Resurrection Parish SummerFest 2022- June 20-25, 2022
(Location- St. Thomas More Church (Resurrection Parish)
(Time: Mon-Fri 6:00-10:00pm, Sat 5:00-10:00pm)
The annual fun and exciting festival put on by Resurrection Parish, SummerFest, returns on June 20 and continues through the 25th. Food, games, entertainment, a flea market, and more await you and your family!
Our Council again be manning the popular Big Money Wheel, so we'll be looking for guys each night of the week to come and work it! Come sign up and have a great time, or stop by and say "hi" to us when you visit the festival.
