Three Rivers Mass 2024

  • Saint Anthony Chapel 1704 Harpster Street Pittsburgh, PA, 15212 United States (map)

Before Pittsburgh became ‘The City of Bridges,’ our city was known as an important hub because Three Rivers merged at one location - the Point. The rivers are an important part of our city's history, and thus, they are an important part of the history of our Catholic faith in Pittsburgh. That is why we celebrate the arrival of the Catholic faith to Pittsburgh every year with the Three Rivers Mass.

The Three Rivers Mass commemorates the First Mass Fr. Denys Baron celebrated in Pittsburgh at Fort Duquesne in the Spring of 1754. We are excited to continue this tradition in what can be considered a spiritual hub of our city – St. Anthony’s Chapel on Troy Hill.

The Chapel is home to the second-largest collection of relics in the world! We are honored that this Year’s Three Rivers Mass will be celebrated at the Chapel by His Excellency Bishop Zubik.

Please join the Knights of Columbus - Pittsburgh Chapter for this special Mass.

Additional information will be announced in 2024.

Vivat Jesus!
